Production Overview
Table Fit For A King is a rich, reverent, and powerful theatrical experience sacred in biblical stories blended with imagination, drama, music, and praise dance to illuminate transformative encounters with Jesus in a modern-day royal banquet setting. Through storytelling, original music, vibrant colors, and worshipful movement, this production invites audiences to the table—where healing, restoration, faith, and purpose are revealed.
We are seeking committed, spiritually grounded, and artistically excellent creatives to join this production.
ACTOR CASTING CALL
Seeking Intermediate to Seasoned Actors. All roles are monologues except for John, Jesus, Jairus’ Daughter, and Apostle Paul
Actors should possess strong stage presence, emotional depth, memorization skills, and the ability to embody biblical characters with authenticity, reverence, and nuance. Singing ability is a plus but not required unless noted.
Available Roles
Woman with the Alabaster Jar
Female 25-35: A deeply expressive role portraying repentance, worship, vulnerability, and extravagant love. Actor must convey emotional intensity with minimal dialogue and strong physical storytelling.
Boy with Two Fish and Five Loaves (Ability to Sing a Plus)
Male 7-12: A youthful, faith-filled role symbolizing obedience, generosity, and trust. Actor should bring innocence, sincerity, and quiet strength to the stage.
Samaritan Woman
Female 20-30: A layered role requiring emotional range—shame, curiosity, awakening, and bold testimony. Strong monologue and character development skills preferred.
Woman with the Issue of Blood (Strong Singer/Actor)
Female 30-45: A physically and emotionally demanding role portraying endurance, desperation, and miraculous healing. Actor must communicate internal struggle and triumphant faith with power vocals to sing her story through a BIG song.
Jairus’ Daughter
Female 12-15: A symbolic role reflecting restoration, innocence, and resurrection. Movement and physical expression are essential.
Apostle Paul
Male 40-50: A commanding role portraying spiritual authority, transformation, conviction, and bold proclamation. Actor should demonstrate gravitas, vocal strength, and theological awareness.

Male 25-35: John is the ultimate royal banquet host. Outgoing and full of enthusiastic hospitality, he has deep affection for Christ and has invited all the surprise guests to sit at the table.
Jesus
Male: 25-35: This role requires an actor with exceptional presence, emotional restraint, and spiritual depth. Jesus is portrayed with authority rooted in compassion, strength expressed through gentleness, and power revealed in love rather than volume. The actor must communicate truth, mercy, and divine invitation through stillness, voice, and intentional movement with an ability to command the stage.
Hosea
Male 30s–50s: Hosea embodies prophetic heartbreak and unwavering obedience. This role requires an actor capable of portraying faithful love in the face of betrayal, wrestling between pain and divine calling. Actor must demonstrate strong dramatic range, vocal authority, and the ability to carry internal conflict with dignity and restraint.
